Happy new year! xin nian kuai le! Selamat tahun baru!

December 31, 2006

“May 2007 turns out to be a pretty good year for you and your loved ones. May 2007 brings new hope and changes to Malaysia!”

Bye-bye 2006!

Malaysians in general by now must have realised that they had a hard luck having a man like AAB to be their prime minister. He’s not good in managing his Cabinet and he knows nothing about economy. And what could be worst, he trusted a group of immatured, inexperienced but “highly educated” team of advisors including his own son in law.

Even the former prime minister who hand-picked him  ” tak boleh tahan” with his performance and behaviour. And the man could only relied ion the so-called “elegance of silence” to avoid more shit on his face. But when he too “tak boleh tahan” with the old man, he tried to hit back but too bad… the shit hit the fan.

Both religious and racial extremists reared their ugly heads under his weak leadership. And he simply fip-flops in his stance and more ofthen not played to the gellery. In a way, he has encouraged more religious and racial extremists to “go to town” with their antics and stunts, causing much concern and uneasiness among its citizenry in this multiracial, multireligious society.

After a string of prices increase ( from petrol, diesel and gas to electricity, water and toll), bad goverment policies and decisions(revival of NEP and further emphasis on Malay supremacy)  and mislocation of public funds, leakages and wastage ( RM600 million for Umno division chiefs, RM300 million Monsoon Cup…) , the year 2006 ended with a massive flood that paralysed the entire south region. And rather sadly, the man set a very bad example for his Cabinet members; he went ahead for his year end holiday overseas, leaving the flood victims to find their own way out, so to speak.

GE in 2007 is possible

Many Malaysians are now eagerly waiting for the next general elections. Why? Because they wanted to teach the Umno-led Barisan Nasional a big lesson. But this man who has gotten the record-high mandate from the Malaysian voters  in 2004 has said that he would not hold a general elections this year.

But he certainly could not hold on for too long; Malaysians are losing both confidence and patience with him. Things can only get worse and time is not on his side. And say what you like, Anwar is still a factor.

I personally believe that he and his advisors on the fouth floor would make use of the 50th Merdeka celebrations to create a “feeling good” atmosphere and then call for an election immediately.

Both Samy Vellu and Abdullah Ahmad Badawi “kena telur” from the residents of BMC. Why? AAB was the one who has the right to rectify the problems facing by the rakyat (whether to remove the barricade or reduce the toll rates) but refused to do so. Samy was the one who screwed up the agreements and contracts done between the government and the toll concessionaire, Grand Saga,  and also between the government and the developer, the Lion Group. And both have been adopting the “tidak apa” attitude towards the sufferings and hardship of the people. While AAB is good at dishing out nice and pleasant slogans created by his spin doctors but follow up with no actions, Samy has been blatantly vulgar and like to  “talk big” all the time. Both deserve the “flying eggs” from the rakyat.

The courage and fighting spirits of the BMC residents were highly commendable. Tan Boon Wah(BMC OARAC chairman), Teresa Kok (DAP Seputeh MP ), Lee Kee Hiong (DAP Selangor state committee member) and Thomas Goh (DAP PJ Action Team treasurer) led the march towards the toll plaza located half a kilometer away under the watchful eyes of the police. The FRU initially have tried to stop the march. (see picture below)

Go!

The people know that the police is not their enemies. The real enemy is the Umno-led Barisan Nasional government. It’s Umno that holds the power and protecting the interest of the toll concessionaire instead of defending the rights and interest of the people.

BN has betrayed the rakyat. We urge Malaysians to wake up and stop trusting the Umno-led BN parties in the coming general elections.

Opposition Leader lends his support to BMC residents

December 31, 2006

Hundreds of residents from Bandar Mahkota Cheras courageously broke the line formed by the FRU and marched to the Grand Saga Cheras 11th Mile Toll Plazas this morning to stage a protest against the toll hike as well as to mark their strong objection to the barricade which blocked the access road from the township since October last year.

A few hundred residents from BMC and Bandar Sg Long were unable to show up because they were blocked by the police at the road block. The police raod block has caused a massive traffic jam at the only outlet from BSL/BMC at the 12th mile this morning.

About 100 policemen(incl FRU) were there to control the crowd. I was informed by some residents that ASP Fauzi again showed his rudeness by holding on to his gun (he did not raise the gun though) besides shouting abusive words at Tan Boon Wah.

Opposition Leader Lim Kit Siang was there to lend his support and solidarity to the residents of BMC. In his speech, he expressed his unhappiness with the Works Minister who promised him to resolve the barricade problem during the October Parliamentary session. Apparently, Samy has done nothing to honour his promise for the past two months. He can’t even fix a joint meeting for Grand Saga, the Lion Group, LLM and the BMC-OARAC.

He also criticised the PM for allowing the drastic toll hike and did nothing on the barricade issue to help the people of BMC. He said he will  seek a meeting with the PM to discuss about the toll hike and other burning issues concerning the welfare, civil rights and the interest of the rakyat.

Other DAP leaders who took turn to address the protestors were Tan Kok Wai, Fong Kui Lun, Teresa Kok and Teng Chang Khim. They have criticised the Umno-led BN Government for not taking care of the interest of the rakyat. Lee Cheng Jin of Parti Keadilan Rakyat has also given a short speech in support of the BMC residents.

Earlier, the Chairman of BMC- OARAC Tan Boon Hwa and I (as the advisor to the action committee) told the residents that the objective of today’s outing was two-pronged: to demand for the access to be opened immediately and to say no to the drastic toll hike.

The director of operation today was Ean Yong Hian Wah, the Selangor DAP Secretary. Other Selangor leaders who were there this morning include Yap Lum Ching, Peter Tan, Lau Weng San, Kuan Perk Siong, Lee Kee Hiong, Edward Pang, Lim Lip Eng, Lee Ah Seng, Chew Ah Peng, Lim Teong Heng, Francis Chang, Thomas Goh, T.Kannan and DAPSY leaders Lee Ying Har and Wong Leng Hang.

On behalf of the BMC-OARAC, I negotiated for an hour for the protest with the Kajang police. We ended today’s action with a symbolic throwing of bad eggs at the “toll gate” (with carricatures of Samy Vellu and AAB pasted on the mock-up “toll gate “).

Samy and AAB sama-sama kena telur!!!

We also invite all Malaysians to take part in the planned anti-toll demonstration on Sunday 7 Jan 2007 at the Sunway LDP toll plaza (at 4 pm). The demonstrationis organised by Malaysian NGOs and opposition parties.

Flat-rate haulage:Govt must act to prevent inflation

December 30, 2006

PC@Selangor DAP office on the issue of “flat rate” for haulage. Ng Wei Aik(Political Secretary of SEC GEN DAP) on my left and Lau Weng San (Selangor DAP Publicity secretary) on my right. Francis Chang (PJ Action Team leader) is not in the picture.

The Government should advice CHAM and AMH to stop imposing the new tariff for haulage to prevent another round of inflation

Media statement by Ronnie Liu Tian Khiew, DAP CEC member and NGO bureau chief on Saturday, 30 Dec 2007.

The decision to proceed with a “flat rate” by Malaysian hauliers has met with a strong protest among the Malaysian exporters and importers. We are of the view that the Plantation Industries and Commodities Ministry and other relevant ministries (MITI, Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development, Finance, Transport) should intervene immediately to prevent Malaysian consumers for paying higher cost as a result of the new tariffs for the haulage of containers. We also believe that the new tariffs,if implemented will certainly make Malaysian goods less competitive in the world market.   We condemn Datuk Peter Chin Fah Kui for not responding to the letter jointly written by FMM, Malaysian National Shippers Council, SMI Association Malaysia, Malaysian Plastics Manufacturer Association, Malaysian SMR Rubber processors Association, Federation of Rubber Trade associations of Malaysia and Malaysian Concentrate Latex Processors Association.

These bodies have described the “flat rate” plan as “unjust”. If the Government can control the fares of taxi and school buses, why can’t they control the charges for haulage?

These associations have voiced their protest, saying it is a form of price fixing or cartel.Several businessmen have complained to the DAP that such move would inevitably push up the cost of haulage for the 20 footer containers by 100%. It is unlikely that the cost would be absorbed by the exporters, processors and importers. The burden of cost increase will certainly be transferred to the Malaysian consumers in general.

If the Government allows the two associations to increase haulage charges, the cost of transporting a 20 footer container from theNorth Port to Kota Bharu would be increased from RM 1,651 to RM 3,302. And this cost of haulage has not included the road toll charges and fuel surcharge ofRM185.60 and RM411.76 respectively.

I was told that a 20 footer could only fit in 720 packs of milk powder. Just imagine the cost of transporting per pack after imposing the new rates. The new additional cost would of course be transferred to the parents.   The higher cost would also affect the competitiveness of our exporters and processors.

According to a reliable source, the 20 footer containers are more popular; they accounted for about 58% of the market, while the 40 footer containers take up the remaining 41%. The 45 footer containers is only about 0.2 %. In a letter dated 25 Nov 2006 jointly issued by the Container Hauliers Association of Malaysia (CHAM) and Association of Malaysian Hauliers (AMH), it was stated that w.e.f. 1 Jan 2007, all haulage charges shall be computed based on the current 40 footer rate regardless of container size whether 20 footer, 40 footer or 45 footer. The two associations cited cost increase as the reason for imposing the single box rate tariff. They argued that the current 20 footer tariff is outdated and no longer reflects or enables the recovery of the true costs of operation today. But we like to point out that the hauliers were allowed to impose fuel surcharges from May 2006, and even the toll fees will be added on to the cost of transport. The hauliers have no reason to increase their cost by 100%. We urge the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development to suspend the new rates until a negotiation was done between the hauliers and the users. The ministry under Datuk Mohd Khaled Nordin is responsible for the issuance of licenses to logistics and transport companies.

We urge CHAM and AMH to hold a meeting with FMM and other associations to reach a compromise and work out the new tariffs in the interest of everybody.   Some of the businessmen told us that an increase of 10 to 20% for the 20 footer would be more reasonable.

DAP will present a memorandum to Chin and Khaled and also both AHM and CHAM on the matters next week.

updated:2006-12-30 20:21:03 MYT

Demo? What demo?

December 29, 2006

The so-called Puchong MCA Youth demonstration was a complete flop.

Not only the Puchong residents all stayed away from the event, none of the MPs and SAs from MCA, Gerakan dare to show up, leaving the MCA grass-root members to do the “show” all by itself.

No more than 40 members from Puchong MCA Youth picked up enough courage to put up a mini protest at the Sunway LDP toll plaza. ( Anybody thought that MCA Youth members will come in hundreds or thoudsands?)

None of the big guns from MCA or MCA Youth dare to show up. The Puchong MP from Gerakan and the MCA state assemblyman of Kinrara were not there either.

There was no FRU, no water canon, no helicopter flying dangerously above the protestors…probably because there was no real demonstration.

One of the policemen on duty told us that the so-called demonstration led by the Puchong MCA Youth chief Datuk Teng Bok only lasted for about 15 minutes.

No wonder a friend of mine called it a “sandiwara”.

A DAP member from Petaling Jaya sarcastically remarked that they should put up the show in Hong Kong movieland instead of Sunway LDP toll plaza.

Someone from the Saujana Puchong “No Cemetery Action Committee” said that it did not make sense for the Puchong MCA Youth to stage the protest when all their elected representatives and ministers said “yes” to the toll hike.

“It’s an insult to our intelligence” was the comment made by Francis Chang, the PJ DAP Action Team leader.

BTW, Puchong MCA division is one of the biggest division. it is said to have more than 10,000 members.

I was there to lend support to the Selangor DAP and Puchong Keadilan leaders. They were there to present a protest memo to the management of Litrak, the toll concessionaire of Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong ( LDP).

The police officers smiled when I told them that we (the coalition of opposition parties, NTUC and other NGOs) will return to the Sunway LDP toll plaza on Sunday 7 Jan 2007 at 4pm.

Sinchew has the stories on the MCA “demo”, presentation of memo to Litrak by DAP Selangor and Puchong Keadilan and also the notice for the demonstration on 31 Dec at the Cheras 11th Mile Grang Daga toll plaza at 10am…

AAB set a bad example for his Cabinet ministers

    December 28, 2006

Out of the eight ministers from Johor ( Hishamuddin,Ong Ka Ting, Khaled Nordin, Muhyiddin, Syed Hamid Syed Albar…). the only one (Chua Soi Lek) that stays back went to Sabah to receive his datukship when the water started to rise in his constituency.

AAB set a bad example for his Cabinet minister; he just paid a visit, said a few words, touched a baby’s head and then flied to Australia for holidays.

In a forum organised by Oriental Daily last night, I said the ministers did not bother to come back because they have always won big in Johor and they believe that they will still be voted in the next GE even if they did not come back to help out. No?

CHAM and AHM should drop the “flat rate”plan on haulage

    December 28, 2006

Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities Datuk Peter Chin Fah Kui is a man of no action. How can he ignore the issue affecting the national economy and well-being of the rakyat as a minister?

The Government should advice CHAM and AMH to stop imposing the new tariff for haulage to prevent another round of inflation Media statement by Ronnie Liu Tian Khiew, DAP CEC member and GO bureau chief (to be released to all media on Saturday, 30 Dec 2007.

The decision to proceed with a “flat rate” by Malaysian hauliers has met with a strong protest among the Malaysian exporters and importers. We are of the view that the Plantation Industries and Commodities Ministry and other relevant ministries ( MITI, Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development , Finance, Transport) should intervene in the matter immediately to prevent Malaysian consumers for paying higher cost as a result of the new tariffs for the haulage of containers. We also believe that the new tariffs; if implemented will certainly make Malaysian goods less competitive in the world market.

These associations have voiced their protest, saying it is a form of price fixing or cartel.

Several businessmen have complained to the DAP that such move would inevitably push up the cost of haulage for the 20 footer containers by 100%. It is unlikely that the cost would be absorbed by the exporters, processors and importers. The burden of cost increase will certainly be transferred to the Malaysian consumers in general.

If the Government allows the two associations to increase haulage charges, the cost of transporting a 20 footer container  from the North Port to Kota Bharu would be increased from RM 1,651 to RM 3,302. And this cost of haulge has not included the road toll charges and fuel surchage ofRM185.60 and RM411.76 respectively.

I was told that a 20 footer could only fit in 720  packs of milk powder. Just imagine the cost of transporting per pack after imposing the new rates. The new additional cost would of course be transfered to the parents.

RM600m scandal: RPK has the minutes to prove that AAB was lying through his teeth

    December 28, 2006

Lies, lies and yet more liesCategory: General

    Posted by: Raja Petra, Malaysia-Today

26 Dec 2006 THE CORRIDORS OF POWERRaja
    Petra Kamarudin

They lied to Parliament. They lied to Malaysians. And they lied to you and me. Lies, lies and yet more lies. This is the bottom line. Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Malaysia’s Fifth Prime Minister, descendant of a string of ulama (or so we are told), the first Malaysian Prime Minister to lead a congregation in prayer (and splashed all over the newspapers so that Malaysians can feast their eyes on this Eighth Wonder of the World), lied to us.Below are the Minutes of the pre-council meeting of the eve of the recent Umno Annual General Assembly. It runs into more than a dozen pages and is in Bahasa
Malaysia for those who care to read it. For those who hate reading long pieces, especially in Bahasa
Malaysia, then just read the extract immediately below and take note of the salient points. And if even this is still too much work, then let me extract the extract even further for your convenience so that you can see not only how you have been lied to but also how they robbed you of RM600 million of your money.

Incidentally, Ronnie Liu of the Democratic Action Party has made a police report on the matter and he has given the police all the relevant documents to assist them in their investigations. Hopefully, with this overwhelming evidence, they will recommend to the Attorney-General that Abdullah Badawi be charged and tried for abuse of power and misuse of public funds. (Ha….got you….If you believe this will happen, then you certainly believe in Santa Clause and the Tooth Fairy).

Anyway, this is what Abdullah Badawi told the pre-council meeting on the eve of the Umno General Assembly in November 2006:

“Bahagian? Oh satu Bahagian…bukan kawasan (parlimen)…silap tadi”. Note what Abdullah Badawi said here. The money is for the Umno Divisions (Bahagian) and not for the Parliamentary Constituencies as they have led us to believe.

Here Abdullah Badawi asks them to accelerate the process. The letter issued by the Deputy Minister of Works of 13 November 2006 says that the money must be spent within two months. In fact, the money is being dished out even as you read this. And it is ‘belanja tambahan’, an increase in budget under the Ninth Malaysia Plan (RMK9). The RMK9 has been approved by Parliament while this belanja tambahan has not. It has only been approved by the Prime Minister, not even by the Cabinet.

I was told that in Johor the money was already distributed since early December. Hmm….isn’t Johor that same state that is suffering the worst flood in 100 years? I hope someone isn’t going to start making statements that this is God’s revenge for stealing our money. This would be most unkind because those who are suffering are innocent victims who are probably not even aware of the RM600 million.

It is clear that the money will be managed by the Umno Division Chiefs. The projects have already been identified. All the Class F contractors (who are not only Malays but Umno members as well) have to do is go see their Division Chiefs to get the money. The buck stops at the Umno Division Chiefs. And the preojects have already been earmarked — which means this is all a fait acompli.

Abdullah Badawi had already discussed this matter with the relevant people even before the pre-council meeting. They had also already issued the letter earlier that day, before the meeting, and at that time this RM600 million expenditure was not approved by either Parliament or the Cabinet. It was the decision of one man, the Prime Minister — another fait acompli.

The amount is RM3 million for each Umno Division, totalling RM600 million in all. And it is for the Umno Divisions, not the Parliamentary Constituencies. So
Sarawak plus the other component parties within Barisan Nasional are excluded from the scheme….or is it scam?

Anyway, read the extract or read the complete minutes of the meeting below to get the bigger picture. See how they are robbing us blind in broad daylight. And they bypassed Parliament and the Cabinet in doing so. This is the kind of people we have voted into office. This is the kind of people who walk through the corridors of power. Those who did not vote for Barisan Nasional can only fume. Those who did not come out to vote at all and just stayed home had better just shut their mouths. They have no right to even make a sound. Those who voted for Barisan Nasional, well, serve you bloody right. And those who are Umno members, is it not time you did something about this? Do you still want this kind of leader running this country? Or are you just too dumb to grasp the seriousness of the situation?

Oh, by the way, Abdullah Badawi also said, “I always say…saya selalu kata ‘it’s hard to be nice. It’s becoming increasingly hard to be nice. I’ll try to be nice but if I become nasty I hope you will understand’.”

Well, Pak Lah, it’s also very hard for us to be nice to a wolf in sheep’s clothing. You are perceived as the ‘face’ of Islam. You invented a new religion called Islam Hadhari, ‘improving’ the Islam of Prophet Muhammad. But you have demonstrated everything that Islam is against. So I hope you too will understand if I become nasty. You are a disgrace to Islam and you are giving Islam a bad name.

EXTRACT OF THE MINUTES OF THE CLOSED-DOOR PRE-COUNCIL MEETING WITH THE UMNO DELEGATES ON THE EVE OF THE RECENT UMNO GENERAL ASSEMBLY

Free Trade Agreement:We need your time and action on 3 Jan 2007.

    December 28, 2006

The NGOs in Malaysia were very busy and often bogged down by too many burning issues at hands thanks to weak leadership of this man on the left. We were forced to spend our limited resources, energy and time on campaigning against numerous Umno-led Barisan Nasional government policies and privatisation projects concerning the rights and wellbeing of the rakyat…incinerator in water catchment area, illegal high-tension transmission towers in residental areas, unequal treatment of mother-tongue education, press freedom, freedom of religion, judiciary and police reforms, privatisation (read price increase) of water, healthcare, tolls, fuels…and now FTAs.

On the surface, bilateral FTAs are fair and square to the two nations committed to the agreement. Both countries can buy and sell whatever products and services between them on the same set of rules and conditions. It’s a level playing field so to speak. But the problem lies in the unequal strength of the two countries. Just like a 5 footer with a body weight of 60 kg has to fight with a 6 footer of150kg in the boxing ring. Yes, they both have to compete under the same set of rules and conditions. But even a child can tell you that such a fight is lopsided and unfair to the weaker opponent.

In theory, Malaysia can sell our computers and sofwares to the Americans. The Amricans , like wise, can sell their computers and softwares to Malaysians. But what kind of computers and softwares we could offer to the consumers in America? If we allow government procurement to be free up, is there a Malaysian company that can compete with the US giants, whether in the US or back home?

The minute we enter FTA with America, Malaysians would not be allowed to buy generic drugs anymore. Can our patients here afford to buy the patented drugs which were much more expensive?

Many countries  have suffered badly after entering FTA with US. Mexico, Australia, Latin America and Singapore, just to name a few. For instance, some 2 million farmers in Mexico lost their jobs because they could not compete with the American farmers.

So, we need AAB to gives us a report on the pros and cons of entering FTA with America. Malaysians have a right to know how much we will gain and how much we will lose if we sign the FTA. We will then decide whether we should support or reject the FTAs. That’s in the interest of all Malaysians and the Umnio-led BN Government has no right to keep us in the dark before signing the FTA with America.

The AAB administration must be condemed for signing a lopsided FTA with Japan quietly without consultation with the rakyat and the Parliamentarians. They now wanted to rush into agreement with the US, again without consultation with the rakyat and the Parliamentarians. Minister Rafidah Aziz has not bothered to respond to the coalition of NGOs despite of numerous requests for meeting and dialogue.

Here’s a campaign which need your participation. Your participation will certainly make a difference.

    GABUNGAN RAKYAT MEMBANTAH FTA US-MALAYSIA

    www.jerit.org

Dear Friends of NGO, Community Organizations and Concerned Individuals The Malaysia -US Free Trade Agreement talks  is proceeding to the 4th round of negotiations, which will take place from the 8th -12 January 2007 in San Francisco US.

Despite numerous letters and memorandums sent on our concerns, the government has not addressed our concerns. The government is just pushing through the talks very fast without getting feedback from the civil society, unions, NGOs, parliament members and the people of Malaysia.

In this process, the Malaysian citizens or the parliament are not aware what is being negotiated and what we are trading off. We are not even sure whether they have done their cost and benefit analysis as they claim to have done and what is the outcome.

If the FTA is signed next year, Malaysians are going to face more economic problems, increase in medicine prices, job losses, local industry unable to compete with US companies and the list goes on. (To know more: www.ftamalaysia.org)

Thus in order to intensify our campaign and also to pressure the government to stop and listen to us, a NATIONWIDE FAXING CAMPAIGN is being planned on the 3rd of January, 2007

The Coalition Against FTA is urging all NGOs, community organizations and concerned citizens to fax in their protest letters against the Malaysia-US FTA on the  3rd January 2007 to the Prime Minister’s office and Dato’ Rafidah’s office.

    Maka kami menuntut supaya :

    2.       Minit    Perundingan Dan Isu Perbincangan Diantara Amerika  Dan Malaysia  Dalam Perjanjian Ini Mestilah Diumumkan kepada Rakyat Malaysia .

    3.       Suatu Mekanisma Maklumbalas Dan Komen diwujudkan untuk membolehkan Rakyat Biasa Menyuarakan Kepentingan Dan Kebimbangan Mereka   Mengenai   Implikasi  Us-Malaysia FTA

    4.       Perbincangan Yang Lebih Telus Dan  Direpresentasi Oleh Pelbagai  Pertubuhan Rakyat  , Badan  Bukan    Kerajaan , Pertubuhan Hak Asasi , Suhakam , Parti Politik , Kesatuan Pekerja  Mesti Diadakan  Dengan    Segera Untuk Menerangkan  Perkembangan Perundingan Dan Menerima Maklumbalas Daripada Wakil –Wakil Tersebut.

    5.        Sehingga Kerajaan Melaksanakan Tuntutan –Tuntutan Seperti   Diatas , Segala   Perundingan Susulan  Dengan  Amerika   Mengenai   US-Malaysia  Free Trade  Agreement  Hendaklah Ditangguh .

Say NO to toll hike on 31 Dec @Plaza Toll Cheras 11th mile

    December 27, 2006

Please join the BMC, BSL and the people of Cheras this Sunday morning. See you there! Even members of BN parties are welcome!

All toll concessionaires are Umno or Umno-related companies. That explains why every request or demand from these concessionaires was readily accepted and supported by the Barisan Nasional Government.

According to Cheras MP Tan Kok Wai, Grand Saga, the concessionair of Kajang-Cheras Highway, has gotten back all all the money they spent in building  the highway 6 years after its opearation.

Just like any other toll concessionaires, this company get to collect toll fees for more than 30 years and on top of that, they have so far received RM226 million as compensation from the Federal Goverment according to Works Minister S.Samy Vellu. Grand Saga will be compensated further in the coming years. All these money will of course come from the rakyat and not from the pockets of AAB or Samy.

We welcome ordinary members of Umno. MCA, MIC,PPP and Gerakan to join the Sunday action. After all, they too have to pay toll. There is no privilege or exemption because they are members of BN parties. They must wake up to the fact that all the benefits have gone to their top leaders and they have gotten nothing but to suffer alongside with other Malaysians.
