Umno leaders in general are racists and extremists. They like to portray themselves as heroes of the Malays by raising issues which could hurt the feelings of the non-Malays. They see it as a platform in climbing up the political ladder.
The Negri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan today joins the bandwagon after Datuk Zainuddin Maidin, the deputy Information Minister, recently hit out at those who erect monuments in Sarawak and Nilai in memory of all anti Japanese fighters. Mohamad Hasan has ordered the monument at the Nilai Menmorial Park to be demolished immediately.
The Sec Gen of DAP Lim Guan Eng has issued a statement today and the party will be holding a protest demonstration against the insensitive move by Umno racists at the Nilai Memorial Park tomorrow morning.
Anti Japanese fighters were also fighters of independence. We have many monuments in memory of these great freedom fighters erected all over the country. 3 years ago, I have visited a grand one erected next to the Bukit China in Melaka. Does it mean that the Umno-led Government will now start to tear down these monuments one by one all over the country? Oh, come on!
Zam and Mohamad Hasan must be exposed for their ignorance in history and be strongly condemned for fanning racist sentiment.

It is done on purpose. They have a gun but no ammunition so “peluru kosong” also can lah. RACE and RELIGION are the only “marketing tool” they have in hand to ensure that they can stay in power. Since this is consider a sensitive issue, they threaten to impose ISA if being challenged.
Therefore, they will NEVER allow this issue to die off! So, don’t fall onto their trap! Stop “entertaining” their little drama and focus on other issue instead.

Ronnie, the two in mention are nothing but losers and they always will. They will never never come to terms that the non-Malays in this country have also contributed greatly in defending our nation against foreign invaders. Look at our history books, no non-Malay names are even mentioned at all. Were there any such names mentioned in the fight against the MCP? None, but I can provide one such name, a great guy and an old classmate of mine, who was shot dead by the CTs at the Thai border back in 1974. His name was Capt Hardev Singh from the Rangers. The issue here has nothing to do with communists in the MPAJA but it has everything to do with the non-Malays taking the credit and this is something these two blockheads cannot stand the sight of it. Talking about the Japanese white-washing their history, UMNO is just as good at the art.

Use whatever stregth and stamina and whatever limited resources we have to single mindedly destroy the gigantic ecil umno.Do NOT fall into their diversion tatics.History have shown us that even the tiny little David can deal the killer blow on the arrogant goliath.Unite and destroy the goliath umno.Do not be distracted,concentrate on this one thing in hand.All other issue can wait till we bury umno.Strnge to say almost all will disappear into thin air with the demise of umno.Wake up and be smart.
