（蕉賴24日訊）皇冠城開路委員會今天開始展開萬人簽名運動，召集當地居民，一起反對政府在皇冠城要道建設收費站。

委員會主席陳文華指出，公共工程部長拿督斯里三美威魯早前在國會上宣布將在該區建立收費站，這是很不合理的作法。

“當初，當我們向發展商購買此區的房屋與店舖時，由于有關方面已表示此區不會建收費站才購買，豈知現在的情況卻相反。”

他續說，該區居民並不是免費使用有關道路，居民在經過蕉賴9哩時，也必須繳付90仙的過路費用。

“政府把許多工程私營化，不就是為了要提升服務嗎﹖為何反而加劇人民的經濟負擔﹖”

他說，人民一向都有繳付所得稅，政府不應該讓人民承擔有關費用。

該區居民熱烈響應簽名活動，抗議政府在蕉賴皇冠城興建收費站。

“我們希望工程部長能公佈有關合約，讓人民了解有關合約內容。”

他表示，無論如何，該委員會將召集所有居民，儘可能籌集萬人簽名，再連同備忘錄呈交給首相署。

“委員會將在下星期六傍晚6時，于皇冠城商業區內，設立櫃檯供居民簽名。”

他今天邀請武吉免登區國會議員方貴倫、蕉賴區國會議員陳國偉及雪州行動黨主席歐陽捍華出席推介“萬人簽名反建收費站”運動時，如此表示。

歐陽捍華說，早前該區4人被警方無理毆打，他們是陳文華、雙溪龍行動黨支會主席陳漢國、居民何奇隆及何奇輝。

“雪州行動黨已決定按照之前民主行動黨中委劉天球被抗暴隊毆傷事件，為此次4名受害者入稟地方法院向警方索償1000令吉。”

如果政府執意要在該要道建收費站，無疑將成為世界笑柄。

該路並非高速公路，而且只長達1.5公里，如果建收費站，那將是全世界最短的收費道路。

我認為這是政府、發展商、大道公司的責任，不應該由無辜的購屋者承擔。

加劇人民負擔

早前精明防洪隧道在還未能正式操作防洪系統，就已向人民徵收過路費，是個本末倒置的個案。

現在無論是房屋或食物，幾乎每樣東西都要收稅，如今政府還表示要在這短短的1.5公里的道路，建設收費站，無疑是嚴重加劇人民的負擔。

政府不應該為了符合發展商的利益，而讓人民承擔不必要的費用。

達到施壓效果

早前該區國會議員馬基曼在國會上已向政府表示，一旦政府不取消建設收費站，居民將繼續抗議。

明顯顯示，居民的抗議對政府而言，已達到施壓效果。

此路不是政府或發展商的道路，而是屬于皇冠城居民的道路，在該路建收費站，是件很不合理的事。

這條道路是州政府為了應付過量的車流而要發展商興建，如果沒有這條道路，此區的居民是無法取得住用證，如今居民已取得住用證，證明發展商是有根據興建規劃圖興建該區的一切設施。

目前最賺錢的公司就是大道公司，好比說克連沙嘉大道公司在去年就已把成本連本帶利收回，其成本只須2億9000萬令吉，而從1999年至去年年底，該公司就已收到了2億9600令吉。

BMC access:Toll plaza works started today

Grand Saga started work to construct a toll plaza on the blocked access road from Bandar Mahkota Cheras to KL this morning. Cheras MP Tan Kok Wai rushed to the site after tipped off by BMC OARAC chairman Tan Boon Wah and he managed to stop all works.

Grand Saga has the backing of the “toll mister” (you know who) but such act is totally unacceptable and DAP will work closely with the BMC residents to fight for their rights.

Yesterday, the BMC OARAC just launched a month-long 10,000 people signature campaign as a protest against the installation of a toll plaza at the RM16 million access road from BMC to KL. The access has been blocked for more than a year since its completion. More than 13 demonstrationshave been held to mark the strong protest by the BMC and BSL residents.

BMC access road: Samy is unreasonable and arrogant

Dear bloggers, pls take some time to read the Hansard below. You’ll see how unreasonable and arrogant the minister was on the issue of the access road between Bandar Mahkota Cheras / Bandar Sg Long and Kuala Lumpur.

It must be out of his mind for Samy to suggest putting up another toll plaza on the access road. No wonder the Works Minister is a.k.a Toll Minister. But the Umno-led BN government still has the cheeks to call themselves as Pembela Rakyat (defender of the people). Can you beat this?

As an advisor to the BMC Open Access Road Action Committee, I would suggest that we would raise hell with Samy at his office and the Parliament.

1. Dato’ Markiman bin Kobiran [Hulu Langat] minta Menteri Kerja Raya menyatakan

apakah tindakan kementerian untuk mempercepatkan pembukaan persimpangan jalan masuk

Lebuh raya Grand Saga ke Bandar Mahkota Cheras dan bilakah ia akan menjadi kenyataan.

Menteri Kerja Raya [Dato’ Seri S. Samy Vellu]: Tuan Yang di-Pertua, untuk makluman

Ahli Yang Berhormat, pihak Kementerian Kerja Raya masih lagi mengadakan rundingan dengan

pemaju Nara Jaya dan juga Syarikat Konsesi Cheras-Kajang-Kuala Lumpur-Cheras.

Perkara ini mempunyai satu sejarah iaitu pembinaan telah berlaku dan pemaju telah

menjalankan pembinaan beberapa ribu rumah di tepi lebuh raya yang telah diadakan lebih awal

daripada pembangunan itu berlaku. Pada masa mereka memohon untuk mengadakan jalan

masuk ke Lebuh raya Cheras, kami telah mengenakan beberapa syarat. Satu di antara

syaratnya iaitu mereka mesti berunding dengan syarikat konsesi Grand Saga dan selepas itu

juga mereka boleh membina dan menyambung dengan Lebuh raya Cheras yang sedia ada.

Mereka masih membina rumah. Mereka mempamerkan satu papan tanda. Papan tanda

itu menyatakan orang yang membeli rumah di sini tidak payah membayar tol. Jangan bayar tol.

Saya percaya mereka bukanlah … they are not sincere dengan izin dan mereka terus membina

rumah beberapa ribu. Sejumlah rumahnya yang dijangka sebanyak 10,000 buah rumah dalam

satu projek dan 4,000 rumah dalam satu projek.

Kita jangka lebih kurang kedua rancangan ini akan mempunyai 40,000 buah kenderaan

sehari. Saya telah mengadakan perbincangan dengan Nara Jaya di pejabat saya. Nara Jaya

menyatakan bahawa mereka tidak bersetuju apa-apa, buka gate. Ini bukan gate Kereta Api

Tanah Melayu. Suka kita buka, bila ada kereta api, kita tutup. Ini lebuh raya. Apa kita cakap

pun dia tidak mahu dengar.

Oleh kerana itulah kita tidak membenarkan mereka masuk dalam Jalan Cheras. Saya

suka juga menerangkan sedikit kepada Ahli Yang Berhormat telah membangkitkan soalan ini.

Sekarang, selepas beberapa perbincangan, minggu ini iaitu 15 Jun, saya telah meminta

Lembaga Lebuh Raya Malaysia untuk memanggil kedua-dua pihak mengadakan perbincangan.

Syarikat konsesi bersetuju untuk membina sebuah plaza tol dengan harga yang murah

iaitu harga yang murah itu sebanyak RM5 juta. Oleh kerana beberapa alat elektronik mesti

dipasang dan perbincangan di antara Nara Jaya dan mereka, Nara Jaya kata, saya bagi RM1

juta sahaja. RM1 juta tidak bolehlah Yang Berhormat.

Mereka minta, dalam pembinaan ini RM5 juta mereka kena bayar. Nara Jaya kata RM1

juta, saya kata bincanglah, bincang sampai lagi lima tahun dia bincang, lima tahun tidak ada

buka, 10 tahun bincang, 10 tahun pun tidak ada buka. Kedua-dua pihak pun mesti

bertanggungjawab. Walau pun syarikat konsesi dia bertanggungjawab, dia kata okey kita boleh

bayar setengah, panggil dia bayar setengah, dia kata tidak boleh. Itulah masalah Yang

Berhormat, saya jelaskan kepada Yang Berhormat.

Dato’ Markiman bin Kobiran [Hulu Langat]: Cheras juga minat. Terima kasih Tuan

Yang di-Pertua. Terima kasih Yang Berhormat Menteri kerana datang sendiri ke Parlimen ini

untuk menjawab soalan spesifik ini. Soalan utama tadi dengan soalan tambahan ini Yang

Berhormat Menteri, adalah mewakili penghuni dan penduduk Taman Bandar Mahkota Cheras

dengan Bandar Sungai Long yang lebih kurang 10,000 penduduk yang cukup ramai dan mereka

sudah pun menderita lebih kurang 10 tahun dan tiga tahun yang lepas laluan keluar masuk yang

baru yang disekat ini disiapkan dengan kos lebih kurang RM12 juta oleh pemaju berkenaan.

Akibatnya mereka terus menderita walau pun jalan ini sudah siap kerana ditutup.

Mereka terus menderita kerana berlaku keangkuhan oleh pemaju yang hanya mementingkan

kewangan. Kedegilan Grand Saga kerana mementingkan kutipan tol, kelemahan serta

kelewatan rundingan katanya oleh LLM dan kementerian melainkan Yang Berhormat Menteri

yang cukup cekap pada hari ini.

Penduduk di situ terus menderita, Tuan Yang di-Pertua. Hingga sekarang jalan siap

begitu lebar, begitu luas dengan lampu dan jambatan tetapi tidak boleh digunakan. Apa

gunanya? Jadi, soalnya sekarang, adakah perlu rundingan sampai tiga tahun, sampai lima tahun

atau sepuluh tahun? Ini adalah keputusan berkenaan dengan kewangan, bukan nyawa yang

perlu penelitian yang terlalu detail.

Oleh itu saya minta kementerian bantulah sikit. Pihak pembangkang asyik

berdemonstrasi tiap-tiap hari Sabtu, tiap-tiap hari Ahad, menunjukkan kononnya merekalah yang

membuat kerja hal rundingan ini. Kononnya merekalah yang memperjuangkan kepentingan

penduduk-penduduk setempat. Tetapi…

Dato’ Markiman bin Kobiran [Hulu Langat]: Nantilah dulu. Ini soal spesifik, tetapi

Yang Berhormat Menteri perkara ini mesti diselesaikan, tidak kira sama ada bayarannya berapa

dan matlamat saya ialah ia mesti diselesaikan dalam masa yang terdekat.

Ahli Yang Berhormat satu syarat yang penting telah diperkenalkan oleh kerajaan kepada mereka.

[Yang Berhormat Menteri membaca satu daripada syarat] “Pihak Nara Jaya Berhad (NSB)

hendaklah bersetuju menanggung rugi LLM Grand Saga atas segala tindakan tuntutan, prosiding,

kerugian, kerosakan, pampasan, kos dan perbelanjaan apa juga mungkin dialami oleh LLM

Grand Saga berbangkit atau berkaitan dengan kerja-kerja pembinaan, laluan keluar masuk yang

dinyatakan di atas lampiran format”.

Ini satu daripada syarat-syarat yang telah dikenakan. Jadi, penswastaan projek -“Kami

Nara Jaya Sdn. Bhd. bersetuju dengan syarat-syarat yang dinyatakan di atas berjanji untuk

mematuhinya”. Ditandatangani oleh Liew Choon Wit, Senior General Manager, Eng Kai Lai,

Senior Project Manager.

Inilah Yang Berhormat, [Menunjukkan sebuah risalah] Pembangkang bolehlah tunjuk

perasaan. Kalau dia tidak tunjuk perasaan dia bukanlah pembangkang lagi. [Dewan riuh] Kami

kerajaan…

Dato’ Seri S. Samy Vellu: Sekejap, Yang Berhormat. Kami kerajaan, kami mempunyai

tanggungjawab. Jikalau saya minta buka jalan itu pada akhirnya siapa yang akan bayar ganti

rugi sebanyak RM400 juta? Kerajaan kena bayar ganti rugi RM400 juta. Saya tidak mahu

kerajaan membayar ganti rugi RM400 juta oleh kerana RM400 juta itu boleh dibelanjakan kepada

rakyat.

Walau bagaimanapun, untuk Yang Berhormat, sepatutnya Yang Berhormat bincang

dengan saya, sekali lagi saya panggil syarikat. Ada juga orang daripada syarikat yang ada tanduk

di sini. [Membuat aksi tanduk di kepala] Tidak mahu cakap, tidak mahu buka mulut, keras

sahaja tidak mahu bincang. Kami bila-bila pun rendah sahaja, kita simpati tetapi dia tidak. Pasal

dia ada duit, dia besar. Bila bina itu, sudah dapat kelulusan tetapi syarat mesti dipatuhi. Ini satu

perkara. Sekali lagi bolehkah mereka mempamerkan, “Belilah rumah di sini, boleh masuk ke jalan

lebuh raya tanpa bayaran tol”. Kami ada gambar.

Tuan Yang di-Pertua: Yang Berhormat, apakah cadangan kementerian untuk

menyelesaikan perkara ini?

Dato’ Markiman bin Kobiran [Hulu Langat]: Ya, saya hendak tahu bila sahaja.

Dato’ Seri S. Samy Vellu: Tuan Yang di-Pertua, atas permintaan Yang Berhormat, dua

bulan yang lalu saya sudah minta Jabatan Kerja Raya dan juga Lembaga Lebuh Raya Malaysia

untuk mengadakan satu persetujuan di antara mereka. Akhirnya, dalam mesyuarat pada 15 hari

bulan ini, Grand Saga bersetuju pada mulanya dia kata RM10 juta. Saya kata, tidak boleh RM10

juta. RM5 juta boleh dijadikan satu toll gate untuk smart card dan lain-lain di mana mereka minta

RM2.5 juta dibayar oleh pemaju dan RM2.5 juta lagi dibayar oleh syarikat. Itu pun saya minta

LLM jika boleh mengurangkan ganti rugi daripada pemaju tetapi syarikat itu akan

bertanggungjawab. Ini akan berlaku dalam tempoh dua atau tiga minggu lagi. Selepas itu saya

akan beri kebenaran kepada syarikat itu untuk membina dengan segera dan kita boleh

mengambil masanya lebih kurang sebulan setengah dan selepas itu kita buka jalan itu.

Tuan Yang di-Pertua: Baik, terima kasih. Ya, Yang Berhormat bagi Cheras.

Tuan Tan Kok Wai [Cheras]: Terima kasih, Tuan Yang di-Pertua. Pada pengetahuan

saya pada bulan Jun ini Syarikat Grand Saga kutipannya selepas operasi selama lapan setengah

tahun telah mengutip bayaran tol sebanyak kos yang sama dengan pembinaannya. Ini bererti

dalam tempoh bakinya 25 tahun syarikat ini akan membuat keuntungan bersih ditolak dengan

sedikit kos maintenancenya. Ini merupakan satu kebaikan kepada syarikat kroni Barisan

Nasional. [Disampuk oleh Ahli-ahli Pembangkang].

Tadi Yang Berhormat Menteri sudah memberikan satu jawapan yang paling

menyedihkan dan mengecewakan penduduk-penduduk Bandar Mahkota Cheras bahawa beliau

telah bersetuju untuk pembinaan satu plaza tol di jalan utama akses tunggal masuk ke Taman

Mahkota Cheras itu. Saya ingin bertanya Yang Berhormat Menteri, adakah Yang Berhormat

Menteri sedar bahawa kelulusan yang pertama yang telah pun diberikan oleh Majlis Perbandaran

Kajang kepada Nara Jaya pemaju Bandar Mahkota Cheras itu untuk membina jalan utama

diberikan pada tahun 1994 sebelum perjanjian konsesi Grand Saga dengan kerajaan

ditandatangani?

Kedua, jalan utama ini sememangnya menjadi satu syarat utama dalam perintah

pembangunan yang dikeluarkan oleh Majlis Perbandaran Kajang kepada pemaju.

Ketiga, rumah-rumah baik pun komersial atau kediaman di Bandar Mahkota Cheras tidak

akan memperoleh sijil kelayakan (CF) untuk bangunan premis mereka jika sesuatu syarat dalam

perintah pembangunan itu tidak dipatuhi oleh pemaju. Saya ingin bertanya Yang Berhormat

Menteri, mengapakah rumah-rumah di Bandar Mahkota Cheras ini masih boleh dapat CF

walaupun jalan utama ini tidak boleh digunakan?

Tuan Yang di-Pertua: Baik, Yang Berhormat. Cukup.

Tuan Tan Kok Wai [Cheras]: Bukan, ini untuk pengetahuan Dewan ini kerana Majlis

Perbandaran Kajang walaupun tidak dapat mengeluarkan CF bagi jalan atau sijil kesempurnaan

Tuan Tan Kok Wai [Cheras]: Sijil kelayakan bagi jalan itu tetapi Majlis bersetuju

memberikan CF kepada rumah-rumah kerana Majlis sendiri yang menghendaki pemaju itu

membina jalan itu.

Tuan Yang di-Pertua: Baik, Baik.

Tuan Tan Kok Wai [Cheras]: Dari aspek ini, adakah ini merupakan satu kesalahan oleh

pemaju? Saya minta penjelasan.

Dato’ Seri S. Samy Vellu: Tuan Yang di-Pertua, untuk makluman Ahli Yang Berhormat

bagi Cheras, Yang Berhormat tunjuk perasaan sahaja tetapi saya mengadakan beberapa

perbincangan dengan penghuni-penghuni rumah yang telah membeli rumah datang ke pejabat

saya. Saya telah menunjukkan beberapa dokumen mengapakah ini tidak boleh berlaku. Saya

jelaskan… Saya kata, walau bagaimanapun jangan susah, kita cuba selesaikan perkara ini

seberapa segera yang boleh. Majlis Perbandaran tidak mempunyai kuasa untuk meminta

manamana pihak masuk ke dalam lebuh raya. Menteri Kerja Raya sahaja yang boleh! [Disorak]

Tahukah? [Buat isyarat menulis] Saya sedia beri kebenaranlah.

Beri dia kebenaranlah. Dia bagi kebenaran kepada satu ratus orang pun saya tidak

peduli. Bila mereka mematuhi syarat-syarat baru saya ikuti dengan saya punya arahan. Jadi

saya minta Ahli Yang Berhormat dari Cheras, bantulah kita sedikit. Kita bersama kerja. Saya

pun tahu, saya kesian dengan penduduk-penduduk. Penduduk-penduduk dan 40,000 kenderaan

dalam tempoh masa enam bulan lagi akan menggunakan jalan ini. Jadi kami mesti menjaga

kepentingan rakyat, kepentingan penghuni rumah dan juga kepentingan syarikat konsesi khasnya

kerajaan.

Last month, Chan Kong Choy promised to find an alternative route for the high-tension tranmission towers within a month. This was witnessed by the Rawang 5-men committee, TNB, Tang See Hang and Lim Keng Yaik at Lim’s office in Putrajaya.Why then TNB held a press conference yesterday to unilaterally declared that it would proceed with works without the need to look for an alternative route? Chan Kong Choy and Tang See Hang must now explain to the Rawang people instead of shying away from his responsibility. Or was there a political tussle between the former Gerakan chief and the MCA leaders over this issue? I would be going down to Rawang together with our Rawang representative M.Batumalai on Saturday to meet the affected villagers to seek a solution. Summary of Revathi’s case:

Revathi, an ethnic Indian woman, has been held in a rehabilitation center run by Islamic authorities since January 2007 because she wants the State to acknowledge she is a Hindu and not a Muslim.

Revathi was born to Indian parents who had converted to Islam before her birth. She claims she was raised by her grandmother as a Hindu. She and Suresh were married according to Hindu rites in March 2004. Revathi was advised by the Malacca Islamic Religious Department to make an application at the Malacca Syariah High Court to confirm her status as a Hindu. She did as she was told.

However, the Syariah Court ordered her detained in a rehabilitation centre in Ulu Yam, Selangor under Melaka’s Syariah criminal laws for 100 days. This detention was extended in Revathi’s absence for a further 80 days supposedly because she had not “repented”. In the meanwhile, Revathi’s Muslim mother obtained a Syariah Court order granting her custody of Revathi and Suresh’s 15 month old baby. That order was enforced on Suresh’s Hindu family with the assistance of the police.

The family is now torn apart – with the mother in detention, the child with the grandparents and the father in limbo without his family.

Dinner: Reclaim PJ Parliamentary and State seats

Congratulations to the PJ Action Team for the successful dinner held in Sg Way (Seri Setia) a while ago.

Sec Gen Lim Guan Eng and deputy sec gen Chong Eng came all the way from Bukit Mertajam and Kota Melaka respectively to give the potential candidates in PJ their greatest support.

Other speakers tonight include Lau Weng San (PJ Action Team Chairman), Ean Yong Hian Wah (Selangor state chairman), Liew Ching Tong ( DAPSY leader), Thomas Goh ( PJ Action Team Treasurer), Tony Pua ( Economic Advisor to Sec Gen DAP), Rama ( Chairman of Kg Tun Razak ).

In my speech, I criticised the MCA local elected reps for not helping the residents and villagers. I also explained what has happened to my OSA case ( no fruther development) and the compensation I won from the case against the former IGP some six months ago was still not paid to me.

I did an opinion poll on the spot and to our delight, majority of the supporters said Yes to opposition cooperation; only 3 persons said No. I have no time to ask them why but I did use the opportunity to explain why we should get the opposition parties to work together.

In my speech, I explained why DAP leaders believe that the coming GE will fall in November this year ( NOV 25, to be more precise) or latest by March 2008. 

I also expressed my deep regret that the voters who lived in Jalan 4 and Jalan 18, Sg Way were fooled by Chew Mei Fun and Dr Wong Sai Hau in the 2004 GE. They were promised land titles immediately after the GE but guess what, their homes were all demolished by the authority in 2006. Both Chew and Wong did not even give it a fight. Not only that, they even failed to get the rightful compensation for many of them: No monthly rental subsidy of RM120 per family. No transport/ moving cost subsidy. No homes for second family…

But it’s too late for the residents who have trusted Chew and Wong. Chew has even gotten a promotion after the 2004 GE. There’s nothing the villagers can do except for voting against the two in the coming general elections.

Other speaker touched on issues such as mother tongue education, quality of tertiary education, freedom of religion, the importance of voters registration, rampant corruption and abuse of powers, increasing crime rates in PJ and Selangor, the restructuring of police force to fight crimes, the reasons for strengthening the DAP and other opposition parties, the NEP and income divide, the sexist Umno MPs ( we played the video clips of the relevant Parliamentary seating) and what should we expect  from a state assemblyman and Member of Parliament.

Everyone in the audience agrees with DAP speakers that Malaysia is not a better place to live after Abdullah has taken over from Dr Mahathir. We were all greatly disappoineted with the performance of Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

MCA elected reps betray Rawang residents

Several ministers have promised the Rawang villagers who were affected by the TNB high-tension transmission project to bring the matter to the Cabinet for discussion and to find a solution. These promises were made during both Machap and Ijok by-elections. Ministers who have pledged to help them include Ong Ka Ting, Chua Soi Lek and Samy Vellu. Even DPM Najib has personally received the memo from the villagers in Ijok. But these promises now appear to be nothing but empty promises. The affected villagers held a press conference as well as a protest yesterday. I was invited to speak as their advisor. In my speech, I encouraged them to seek a judicial review as a last resort in the event that all negotiations with the Selangor State Government and TNB failed to resolve their problems. The whole episode so far has clearly shown that the local MCA elected reps Tang See Hang and Chan Kong Choy have betrayed the villagers. Tang, a ‘big time’ developer, was said to have vested interest in the project. PKR’s Information chief Tian Chua and a representative from the Kuala Lumpur Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall were also there to lend their support and solidarity. 国家能源公司（国能）日前揭露，他们不曾以“技术问题”为由，来拒绝以绕道方式解决万挠新村兴建高压电缆的问题，反之只是听从州政府的指示办事。万挠新村反电缆5人小组的成员之一的王仲辉向《当今大马》表示，该5人小组曾于4月9日和国能高级副总裁西迪，连同土地局和州政府代表举行闭门会议。在会议上,西迪不曾表示，他们是因技术原因和经费的增加才拒绝绕道。“西迪告诉我们国能并没有决定是否绕道的权力，而且钱和技术也不是他们面对的问题，他们说一切只是听从州政府指示办事。而州政府代表，即雪州行政议员阿都法达也当场表示，将会重新考虑绕道的建议。” 万挠区州议员邓诗汉曾表示，该区国会议员陈广才以及能讯部长林敬益都支持绕道建议，惟国能却以技术问题而拒绝。 不过，王仲辉认为，邓诗汉所说的“技术问题”和国能的说法不符，所以他怀疑邓诗汉敷衍回应居民，甚至有意蒙蔽真正绕道被拒的原因。 “从头到尾都是州政府玩的把戏，在这件事中有滥权的迹像，我怀疑有人为了私利而枉顾居民的权益！” 王仲辉是于昨天召开居民大会后向记者如此表示。这场大会获得约80受影响的村民的响应。民主行动党非政府组织局主任刘天球、人民公正党宣传局主任蔡添强和隆雪华青秘书李英伟也到场呼吁居民捍卫自己的权益。过后，他们也愤起拉布条抗议，力促雪州州务大臣、士拉央区国州议员和国能“拿出良知来做事”。  蔡添强：大选来临居民便能得尝所愿 万挠新村居民是在去年2月接获通知，国家能源公司计划在当地兴建高压电缆，并要求该村51户人家搬迁。随后村民成立了5人小组坚持不搬迁，以危害健康为由，反对在新村毗邻兴建高压电缆的计划，并向国能提出其他的电缆绕道路线作为解决方案，唯遭受拒绝。 另一方面，蔡添强（左图）对政府宁愿要求居民搬迁，也不愿将高压电缆绕道建在其他政府保留地的作法感到不甚理解。 他也籍此揶揄国阵政府，“国阵政府在选举上靠幽灵选民来获胜，所以照顾鬼多过照顾人！他们不要绕道是因为怕侵犯山神野鬼，所以只好选择动生人！” “为什么没人住的地方不建高压电缆，而选择要居住在这里长达十年的居民搬迁？这根本是漠视居民对这片土地的贡献和感情！” 蔡添强呼吁居民继续坚持斗争，并预测多几个月居民便能得尝所愿。 “多几个月后大选来临时，你们就是“王”，到时你们拒绝搬迁的要求就会受到政府重视了！” 5人小组多次寻求州议员邓诗汉与国会议员陈广才的协助，两人都承诺会带入内阁讨论，但随后事情却毫无下文。于是他们趁着马接和依约补选，先后向马华总会长黄家定、副总会长蔡细历、国大党主席三美威鲁，和副首相纳吉提呈备忘录要求介入，但都不得要领。 在居民引颈长盼各人民代议士作出回应之际，国能在上周一派出铲泥机进入万挠新村欲展开高压电缆工程。虽然铲泥机最终遭居民驱赶离开，但居民对国能贸然展开兴建工程的行径感到错鄂和担忧，所以立即号召聚集起来商讨对策。 刘天球：上庭是最后的行动 刘天球（右图）恫言，假如政府还是枉顾人民居住的权力，在迫不得已的时候上庭是最后的行动。 “目前我们先相信政府能帮居民解决问题、继续和有关单位谈判，但同时我们也会收集一些法律文件，以便在谈判破裂之后立即上庭！到时我们就不是以万挠新村居民的利益来打这场官司，而是以公众的利益来打官司！” 刘天球也提醒居民，在这段关键时期不要听信谣言、不要畏惧恐威胁，也不要私下接受任何妥协条件，以免让人有机可乘。 他也认为万挠新村居民目前必须极力争取外界人士的支持，不断针对此事向政府施压。 “新建的电缆会经过位于新村的三育小学，影响学生的健康，那为什么该校董事、家教协会和校友会无人站出来反对？事实上只要是学生的家长，都有站起来反对的权力。我也很遗憾万挠的社团在这时候选择沉默！” 除此之外，刘天球也建议居民呼吁附近的村民都加入反对的行列，因为高压电缆对周遭的居民都会带来影响。 据悉，5人小组接下来将向附近的李金狮新村和16英里新村村民游说签署反对建高压电缆的连署书，以加强反对的声浪。

Ijok: An opportunity to change the political landscape

In my speech in Ijok last night, I said the by-election offers a great hope in changing the political landscape in Selangor.

Allowing MIC to retain the seat means little or nothing to the people. But a victory for Khalid/PKR is a victory for the entire Opposition and it will serve as a booster for the real battles in the impending general elections. While BN is busy paving the roads in Ijok to please the voters (with taxpayers’ money), a win in Ijok for the Opposition will augurs well for Malaysian democracy.

I also stressed on the importance of opposition unity in deciding the fate of Malaysian people. The crowd was happy to learn that top leaders from the DAP will go all out to help PKR in Ijok.( Lim Guan Eng for Saturday and Sunday, Lim Kit Siang on Tuesday. And more on the pipeline)

Anwar Ibrahim spoke about the NEP, Najib, Submarines, Sukhoi, Altantuya, Corruption, Teaching of Math and Science in mother tongue education, Freedom of religion and Abuse of power to an attentive and responsive crowds.

Azizah explains why Khalid is a much better choice than Partiban for the voters of Ijok. She promises that Khalid wil speak up fearlessly for the people when elected.

Teresa Kok told the Ijok people that if Khalid wins the seat, the BN camp will have to spend even more money to wrest back the seat from the opposition from now until the coming general elections.

Ean Yong Hian Wah urged the Ijok people to give 100% support to Khalid to send a strong message to the arrogant BN government.

Others who spoke in the dinner ceramah in Ijok last night include Dr Lee Boon Chye, Tian Chua and Azmin Ali.

Remove illegal containers placed by Umno immediately

The residents of Bandar Bukit Puchong came out in full force this morning to demonstrate against MPSJ and the local Umno branch for illegally occupying their fields with containers. The two containers in red (in the background) were sitting on the playground.

Selangor DAP leaders (Ean Yong Hean Wah, Lau Weng San, Kuan Perk Siong and Edward Pang) and I were there to lend our support to the residents.

In my speech, I told the residents that we would place a container directly next to the Umno’s containers to “force an issue  ‘( not to follow the footsteps of Umno).  We want the MPSJ to remove the containers here as well as all the other 43 containers illegally placed in the Puchong constituency by various BN component parties. We are in the process of finding an old container for the purpose. 

I also named 6 parties who were responsible for this shameful act; they were Umno local branch leader Zawawi, the YDP of MPSJ Adnan Mohde Ikhsan, the local state assemblyman Satem Diman (Sri Serdang -Umno), the local MP Lau Yen Peng (Puchong – Gerakan), the Selangor MB Khir Toyo and the Local Government and Housing Minister Ong Ka Ting.

Zawawi is a resident of BP1. There is a field near his residence. He has no right to occupy the fields in BP3 with containers. We are not suggesting to allow him to place containers in the fields nearer to where he lives.

In one of the meetings at MPSJ, the big bully Satem Diman (who is also a MPSJ councillor) was reportedly saying that “Umno is a government party, and don’t you dare to touch our containers…”. The rest of the councillors from MCA, Gerakan and MIC were timidly quite (the Sun).

On the other hand, the YDP of MPSJ Adnan Mohd Ikhsan has no rights to grant a permit to allow UMNO to place containers in the field. He should stick to his earlier decision i.e. Umno must remove the containers within 30 days.

The Puchong MP Lau Yen Peng is a real coward. As an MP, he lacks the courage to protect the interests and rights of his constituents. He has tarnished the image of his party once again.

The Selangor MB Khir Toyo must not allow anybody to break the laws in Selangor. What more when the culprits were his own members from Umno. The man who once tried to label Selangor as an advanced state must not let down the state by turning it into a “lawless” cowboy state. He must order the MPSJ to remove the containers immediately, instead of allowing MPSJ to “legalise the illegal act of Umno”. 

And it’s a shame for Ong Ka Ting to keep mum on the issue as a minister in-charge of local government. He has been talking about the preservation  of green lungs and open fields  and this is the right time for him to “walk the talk”.

This is a very serious matter. Residents who were putting up a protest were beaten by some hooligans from Umno on 21 January 2007. A police report was lodged but the culprits were not punished until today.

We will not allow Umno to bully the residents and MPSJ officials. I have reported the matter to the DAP CEC in our meeting in March.

Selangor DAP Chairman Ean Yong Hean Wah and state secretary Lau Weng San will be helping the residents of Bandar Bukit Puchong to bring these cases to the Opposition Leader Lim Kit Siang next week.

We will fight until all the 43 illegal containers be removed from Puchong before we move on to other areas in Selangor. All component parties of Barisan Nasional have practised such shameful acts in the state. It’s time for the DAP and the rakyat to act.

寬限期已過貨柜仍在 居民不滿市會漠視投訴

（蒲種訊）蒲種富吉鎮BP3區居民投訴，住宅區內公園遭有政黨背景的居民置放非法貨柜箱，同時漠視地方議會發出的搬遷令！

BP3區反對非法貨柜箱居民委員會主席尤金指出，該住宅區花園共出現兩個貨柜箱，分別位於3/1及3/4路之間和面向3/5路的公園。
他指出，有政黨背景的居民在去年8月把貨柜箱放置在該花園，並充作活動中心。

“當時居民已多次向地方議會提出反對，同時也曾和該有政治背景的居民會面以商討此事，唯卻沒有任何下文。而在今年二月時才分別致函梳邦再也市議會及向雪州大臣作出投訴。”

他說，在今年二月初，梳邦再也市議會發出通知信指21區居民委員會需在一個月的時間內將有關貨柜箱移走。

“但是寬限期已過了這麼久，貨柜箱至今都還在，而令人失望的是市議會竟然沒有采取任何的行動。”

他說，居民皆擔心若事情持續無法獲得解決，市議會會批准非法貨柜箱合法置放在該公園。

居民聚集草場抗議

“因為據瞭解放置貨柜箱的居民早已向市議會提出上訴，同時指出只是一小撮居民反對。而根據本地一家西報在今年3月的報導指出，梳邦再也市議會有意將類似非法的貨柜箱合法化。”

尤金表示，該處約有過百戶的住家，居民都不滿有關當局遲遲沒有采取行動，漠視居民的投訴。

今早約50名居民聚集草場進行抗議，並向行動黨蒲種／金鑾區投訴局主任關柏松作出投訴。其他出席的包括行動黨雪州主席歐陽捍華、雪州秘書劉永山及非政府組織局主任劉天球等
